Bardahl, back in the Dakar Rally with Bahrain Raid Xtreme
After a very successful campaign in 2019 alongside Sébastien Loeb and Daniel Elena, one of the Frenchs’ favorite crews, Bardahl comes back for the 43rd edition of the Dakar Rally as a major partner of Bahrain Raid Xtreme (BRX) team. Target: being on the podium!
To make its debut in rally-raid competition, BRX trust Bardahl and its strong experience in mechanical sports. The Bahrain Xtreme Raid team, with a car designed by Provide, is aiming for the podium. No doubts, Sébastien Loeb and Nani Roma are their best bet!
Two fearsome crews
The duo Loeb-Elena came in third in 2019, with 4 stage wins. No need to remind that this crew is 9-time world rally champion (WRC).
On his side, Nani Roma is one of the 3 pilots having won the Dakar rally in the motorcycle category in 2004 and in the car category in 2014. The Spanish only missed two Dakar rallies since 1996. He will be accompanied by his copilot, Dani Oliveras.
The BRX T1: designed to win
3.5L V6 Twin turbo
The brand new BRX T1 4x4 will make its debut in competition. With its full transmission and a powerful petrol V6 biturbo, its highly resistant steel structure and its bodywork made from carbon fibre, the car has been designed to be fearsome in Saudi Arabia sand. Its top speed is limited to 180km/h. The BRX T1 4x4 has a 500-liter fuel tank!
The first step of this 43rd Dakar Rally edition will take place on January 3rd, 2021, in Jeddah. The Dakar Caravan settles in Saudi Arabia for the second consecutive year. The rally will end on January 15th, 2021, after more than 4,700km of special timed steps run by the competitors.
Throughout the rally, Bardahl will give the opportunity to the fans to win Bardahl and BRX goodies.
